Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best recognized for her role in House, a Fox medical drama. Born in Wayne with a strict Jewish customs, she emigrated in New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theatre at Tisch school of arts. She soon became part of the New York club scene and was soon getting headlines. Press also took notice of her. She then merged her fame and talent with her writing and composing skills to create a show called Positive Me. Awake the Wild Side, a show she hosted for MTV was soon her assignment. After it was taken off air, she began appearing in films and television production, initially in short roles and gradually established herself as an actress.
